Job summary

Cascadia Global Security in Austin, TX is seeking an Armed Security officer for a full-time night shift. The role covers monitoring access, reporting safety concerns, and maintaining a professional presence at client sites.

Experience includes at least 1 year in armed security and a Level 3 Armed License. Willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and the ability to work Wednesday through Sunday, 10 pm–6 am, are required.

Responsibilities

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols may be assigned on foot to observe activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure daily administrative documentation is concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

SecurityResponsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols areassigned in a company-marked vehicle, provided the candidates' driving history isexemplary. Free of tickets, accidents, or marks against your driver's license.
  • Patrols may be assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Minimum 21years of age
• Candidates should be able to provide body armor:
  • Tactical outer carrier
  • Concealed inner carrier
  • 3a+ Soft armor
  • Duty belt with MOLLEattachments
  • OC spray, handcuffs, and baton.
  • Provide own duty weapon
    • With at least 2 spare magazines

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: $21per hour
• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ and Free Life insurance for Full-time employees available after the first 60 days.
