Job summary

Cascadia Global Security (CGS) seeks an Armed School Security Officer for a full-time role in Bryan, TX. The position involves working in a school environment with required screenings and background checks. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–2:30 pm, with daily pay options and a competitive pay rate of $19 per hour.

Training, armor requirements, and equipment will be provided as needed. Candidate must pass background checks, be 21+, and capable of handling emergencies and stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be comfortable working with children and teenagers.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Provide your own body armor including outer carrier, inner carrier, and 3a+ soft armor.

Responsibilities

• Access Control and monitor entry points.
• Investigate and report safety conditions that may endanger people or property.
• Patrols may be conducted in a company vehicle or on foot to maintain visibility.
• Deterrence of theft and vandalism and ensuring a safe environment.
• Enforce campus rules and safeguard the school grounds from suspicious activity.
• Supervise the school campus and maintain concise daily records.
