The position is full-time, hourly, reports to the Chief Executive Officer, with duties tied to district safety and emergency management across campus, starting immediately. 12 months/234 days per the 2026-2027 pay schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and Firearm Owner’s Identification Card.
• Pass a fingerprint background check, physical fitness exam, drug/alcohol screening and mental health evaluation.
• 1–3 years of security or police officer experience.
• Coursework, training or licensure in security/public safety preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check for firearm purchase.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong writing and public relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safety, security and welfare of students, staff and visitors.
• Provide emergency preparedness support across campuses.
• Maintain order and assist administration during events as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents on campus.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and district personnel as required.
• Assist with drills and safety training.
