Job summary

Security Care, Inc. is seeking an Armed School Security Agent to patrol and protect school facilities on a rotating shift in Alaska. The role requires a valid motor vehicle license, a clean 5-year driving record, and appropriate security certifications.

You may work in uniform or plainclothes depending on the assignment. Candidates should have 4+ years of police, military, or corrections experience, knowledge of PA laws, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug testing along with FBI and Act

Qualifications

• Valid license to operate a motor vehicle at the time of the appointment and during the tenure of employment.
• Clean driving record for 5 years, no suspensions.
• PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (ACT 235);
• Act 120
• ACT 67 (NASRO) certification is necessary, U.S. Security Care provides same
• Must be retired or former Police Officer, or Military, or Corrections
• Weapons Qualification;
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing;
• Must have or be able to obtain a Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151);
• High School graduate;
• Knowledge of PA Laws & district policies;
• Minimum of 4 years of police, military, or corrections experience;
• A working knowledge of office equipment;
• Excellent organizational skills and abilities;
• Current Act 34 and FBI Clearances as required by the laws of Pennsylvania, and any other clearances that may be required by law.

• Performs a variety of assignments which can require being in a fixed location or a mobile unit or being exposed to uncontrolled and/or unpredictable conditions.
• Performs their duties in uniform or in plainclothes depending on the type of assignment.

Pay Rate: $26.50/hr. to $27.55/hr.

Shift: Monday through Friday | 7:00AM to 3:00PM; 1PM - 9PM, 8:15AM - 4:15PM | Work 2 to 4 days a week
