Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) seeks licensed Armed Security Roving Patrol Officers in Florida to join a trusted team. You will patrol multiple client locations, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

Open availability and willingness to travel between sites are required; valid Florida armed license and clean driving record are essential. Gas cards and weekly or daily pay options are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Armed Security Guard License required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a drug screening and meet state licensing requirements.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing regular and random patrols of multiple properties.
• Maintaining a visible security presence and protecting people and assets.
• Monitoring assigned properties, parking areas, and surrounding areas.
• Reporting security incidents and unusual occurrences to supervisors.
• Responding to security concerns and emergencies promptly.
• Conducting access control and site procedures as needed.
• Investigating and documenting property breaches.
• Operating emergency equipment when required.
• Communicating with clients, supervisors, and IPSC staff.
• Completing daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Following IPSC policies and applicable laws.
• Carrying out armed security duties per licensing requirements.

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring LICENSED Armed Security Roving Patrol Officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

Prior law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is a plus.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Armed Security Roving Patrol Officer , you will provide security coverage at multiple IPSC client locations as needed. You will help protect people, property, and assets by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security concerns, and providing professional customer service.

This position requires a dependable and flexible professional who is comfortable traveling between locations and working independently.

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL

• Open availability is required
• Must be willing to travel to different job sites when needed
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Must be willing to use your personal vehicle to travel to assigned sites
• Gas card provided for approved travel
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Active Florida Armed Security Guard License required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Must meet applicable Florida requirements for armed security work

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will help prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing regular and random patrols of multiple properties
• Maintaining a visible security presence
• Monitoring assigned properties, parking areas, and surrounding areas
• Reporting security incidents, hazards, suspicious activity, and unusual occurrences
• Responding appropriately to security concerns and emergencies
• Performing access control and other site procedures when required
• Investigating and documenting property breaches
• Operating emergency equipment when required
• Communicating with supervisors, clients, and IPSC personnel
• Completing daily activity logs and incident reports
• Following IPSC policies, client procedures, and applicable laws
• Performing armed security duties in accordance with licensing requirements and company policy

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle when required
• Ability to detect alarms, emergency signals, and persons in distress
• Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to remain alert and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to make timely decisions during emergencies
• Must meet applicable physical and mental requirements for state security licensing
