Responsibilities

• Enforce access control measures and screen individuals and vehicles
• Operate security equipment such as metal detectors and x-ray machines
• Conduct vehicle inspections and security patrols
• Identify and respond to security threats and emergencies
• Maintain detailed reports and logs
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years armed security experience within the past five years, or
• Minimum of 1 year law enforcement experience, or
• Honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserves

Additional qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, US citizenship or lawful permanent residency, valid driver’s license, proficiency with firearms, and the ability to handle crisis situations professionally.
