Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Premise Guard in Boca Raton, Florida, to safeguard the facility and support operations. You will monitor cameras, greet staff and visitors, and assist with administrative tasks as directed by management. The role may include Driver/Messenger duties based on needs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay rate: $20.00/hour. Benefits include 401K, medical, dental, vision, and PTO. GardaWorld is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 1 year of experience in the security industry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clearability to obtain guard and gun permits/licenses.
• Strong oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cameras and perform routine facility walks.
• Greet and direct employees, customers, and vendors; log non-site entrants.
• Inspect personal belongings or packages entering or leaving the facility.
• Assist in administrative duties such as mail and phone duties.
• Cross-train in other operational areas as needed by management.
• Cooperate with staff; contribute to team efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 2:00PM - 11:00PM

Payrate: $20.00 /hourly

The position of the Premise Guard is responsible for the surveillance of the building and the safety of all personnel. Will assist in administrative duties and support the operation as directed by Superior/Management.

Job Requirements

• Maintains surveillance by monitoring cameras and taking routine walks through the facility.
• Greets and directs employees, customers, and vendors. Ensures all non-site employees are logged prior to entering and exiting the facility.
• Conducts inspection of personal belongings or packages being carried into and out of the facility by all employees, customers, and vendors.
• Assists in administrative duties such as handling incoming and outgoing mail and answering the main telephone line.
• Cross-trains in other operational areas as assigned by Superior/Management
• Cooperates with other staff members and is an integral part of the team effort.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Superior/Management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Position requires incumbent to be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have at least one year of experience in the Security industry.
• This position requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits or licenses on a current basis.
• Must demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication skills. The oral skills must be demonstrable in person and with a radio.
• Positions may require performing the duties of a Driver/Messenger based on operational needs.
