Qualifications

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
