Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while performing security procedures and emergency responses at government facilities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, coordinating with personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear incident reports and patrol logs with professional communication to site representatives.
