Qualifications

• DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree, 60 college credits or certs.
• Police and corrections academy certificates are acceptable qualifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals and vehicles entering restricted areas.
• Document patrols, incidents and security activities through accurate reports and communications.
