Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a strong, visible security presence for diverse clients in tech/media/telecom environments.

Day-to-day duties include site-specific procedures, patrol documentation, and collaboration with clients. Requirements include 1+ year armed security, valid driver’s license, and 21+ age; background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• An armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, reporting unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation per site requirements.
