Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Driver Alarm Response security officer in Taylorsville, NC. You will provide customer service, conduct armed patrols, respond to incidents, and monitor access while upholding site policies. A valid driver’s license is required and an armed guard card is preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site role with shift scheduling. You will work in a government corrections environment, maintaining professionalism and clear communication with staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points and perimeters.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, alarms and disturbances following post orders.
• Monitor restricted areas and verify authorization for movement.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations to supervisors.
