Overview

Allied Universal is now hiring part-time Armed Security Guards in Bayboro, NC. This role involves patrolling correctional facilities and ensuring security both inside and outside the premises, without interaction with inmates.

The position pays $21.00 per hour.

• Part Time
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to certify at the range to obtain an armed NCPPSB guard card
• Shifts are 12 hours: 6pm - 6am

Prior experience in armed security, corrections, military, or law enforcement is preferred. We offer a welcoming team environment and growth opportunities.

We offer a $2,000 hiring bonus for candidates with an active Armed NCPPSB guard card.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Pass a background investigation and drug screening as required by law
• Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws

A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
