Job summary

Allied Universal in Signal Hill, CA is seeking a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver to protect government facilities and deter incidents. The role requires an armed guard card, driving credentials, 21+, high school diploma, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include patrols, access monitoring, incident reporting, and coordination with site leadership. The schedule is day/evening shifts with a $22.00/hour pay rate; full-time positions come with benefits.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• 6 months or more of armed security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of government facilities and surrounding areas to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with authorized entry while maintaining required records.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and daily activities for site leadership.
