Armed Maintenance Employee (Finance)

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Description

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of buildings by performing heavy cleaning duties, including mopping, waxing floors, dusting, deep cleaning bathrooms, and trash removal.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Empty and discard trash.
• Service, clean, and restock restrooms.
• Polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions following specifications.
• Use chemical cleaners and equipment safely to prevent damage.
• Move heavy furniture and supplies.
• Perform basic repairs, grass-cutting, and painting.
• Report major repairs or system issues to management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to push/pull loaded carts and wagons.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing, twisting, and reaching.
• Lift approximately 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Stand on concrete for about 80% of shift.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to record and sign numbers, and prepare reports.

Essential Functions/Job Qualifications

An Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required, including testing in:

• Lift: 25 lbs from various heights.
• Carry: 18 lbs vertically, 15 ft horizontally, and 50 lbs vertically with specific distances.
• Push-Pull: 47 lbs force on a sled over 1 ft.
• Repetitive coupling: Squeeze dynamometer up to 30 lbs with both hands.
