Job summary

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is hiring a Flex Armed Security Officer in Albuquerque, NM. You must hold a current Level 3 NM Security Guard Card and provide your own semi-automatic firearm. Prior armed security officer experience is required, with a minimum age of 21.

A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, and background checks and drug screens will be conducted. Position offers $22.50 per hour with benefits for full-time staff and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Level 3 Security Guard Card in the State of New Mexico.
• Must have your own firearm to carry on the job. (ex, 9mm or .45 cal, .40 cal)(must be semi-auto)
• Must have experience as an Armed Security Officer.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screens will be conducted as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises and patrolling locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations for client site personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Remain vigilant to identify potential risks or incidents on our customers' premises.
