Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Sr. Security Officer at Samaritan Hospital (Part Time Days). You will provide armed, uniformed security across SPHP campuses, assess threats, and respond to incidents to protect staff, patients, and visitors.

Role requires NYS Armed Security Guard license, drivers license, and prior security or law enforcement experience. Collaboration with law enforcement and strict reporting are essential to the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Unexpired NYS Armed Security Guard License (includes firearms training).
• Active police officer certification may be required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed, uniformed security presence throughout SPHP campuses.
• Assess threats and provide immediate response to incidents.
• Coordinate with law enforcement based on threat assessment and offenses.
• Prepare investigations and thorough reports for Lead Security Officer and SPHP leadership.
