Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Act 120 trained or equivalent with 1 year security-related experience, or five years of prior law enforcement with firearm training.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact, communicate, and diffuse potential combative situations.
• Subject to thorough background and criminal record checks.
• Firearm training and qualification required annually.

Responsibilities

• Guard and protect patients, families, visitors, and employees.
• Respond to acts of violence and potential deadly force situations as per policy.
• Investigate incidents and escalate concerns to management.
• Carry, handle, and deploy a firearm as required.
• Occasionally function as shift supervisor and lead daily security operations.
