Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, visitors and staff across campus. You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents, perform risk assessments and document activities in logs and reports in line with policy.

Required qualifications include a GA driver’s license, BLS certification, and a HS diploma (GED accepted). Experience in military, police, corrections, or private security is preferred; training in de-escalation and safety procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid GA Driver's License and current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required; military/police/corrections/private security background preferred (2+ years).
• Ability to work well with others, de-escalation, and maintain professional reports.

Responsabilités

• Make routine and random tours of facility and grounds using patrolling techniques.
• Respond to incidents, investigate reports, conduct de-escalation and assist staff as needed.
• Report daily activities, incidents and security findings in logs and reports.
• Assist with access control, door locking/unlocking and safe transport of funds or valuables.
• Attend mandatory training (protective equipment, de-escalation, drills) and maintain equipment.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous service to patients and the public.
• Observe CCTV for suspicious activity and coordinate with supervisors as required.
