Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Armed Health Protection Officer in Seattle, WA. This role requires extensive armed security experience and CJTC certification to protect a high-security facility.

You will monitor access, respond to incidents, assist hospital leadership, and follow emergency procedures. Candidates must be able to obtain an Armed Guard Card and pass health screenings, background checks, and drug tests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• CJTC-certified.
• Armed Guard Card eligibility.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and health physical.
• Complete required Varicella, MMR, and Hepatitis B health requirements.
• If non-immune or low-immune, provide vaccination records or complete the required vaccination process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals entering and exiting the facility
• Monitor for potential security threats
• Conduct bag checks and screening for weapons or prohibited items
• Respond to security emergencies and safety incidents
• Assist hospital staff during high-risk or disruptive situations
• Work closely with hospital leadership, security teams, and emergency personnel
• Follow established emergency response procedures
• Use hands-on intervention when necessary and permitted by policy if a patient becomes physically aggressive
