Job Description

1. The primary roles are crime and violence prevention, and customer service.
2. Security guards on duty will be responsible for escorting clients and employees.
3. Monitoring cameras and assisting with physical and personal security measures for clients.
4. Patrolling the work site on foot to prevent intrusions and ensure security of all entry points.
5. Writing reports on daily activities and irregularities such as damage, theft, or unauthorized persons.
6. Controlling access by monitoring entrances and exits of employees, visitors, and others.
7. Investigating disturbances and responding to alarms.
8. Circulating among visitors and employees to maintain order and protect property.
9. Responding to emergencies by contacting law enforcement or first responders.
10. Conducting pat-downs and metal detecting searches.
11. Enforcing applicable laws, policies, and codes.
12. Interacting professionally with colleagues, clients, visitors, and others.

All job offers are for unarmed security guards, with opportunities for armed work upon qualification and shift availability.

Minimum Requirements

• California Guard Card, Firearms Permit, and Chemical Agent.
• 40 hours of BSIS training and recent annual refresher.
• 2-4 years of experience in high-end security, military, or law enforcement.
• GED or High School Diploma; college experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Excellent English verbal and written skills.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• Reliable transportation and a track record of punctuality and integrity.
• Cell phone with internet, text, and email access.
• Own a black business suit, white shirt, black tie, belt, socks, dress shoes or boots, and a small flashlight.

Availability, Pay & Perks

• Overnight armed shifts in Los Angeles, starting 5/1/25.
• Staffing 12-50 hours weekly, with potential for full-time positions after probation.
• Pay ranges from $25-$27/hr based on experience and qualifications.
