Qualifications

• Previous armed security experience in a school or educational environment required
• Proven experience in armed security or law enforcement
• Valid firearm license and certification (Open Carry Permit) CCW a plus
• Possess own firearm
• Must have own duty belt
• Strong physical fitness and ability to handle stressful situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and greet visitors
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity
• Monitor and control access points
• Respond swiftly to security incidents according to protocol
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Execute emergency response procedures and contribute to incident reports
• Conduct security assessments in high-risk environments
• Our armed guards will work as part of the team to secure premises and assets

Job Skills / Requirements

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday
• Shift times will vary depending on site needs.
• Some days may be a split shift: 9:45 AM–1:45 PM and 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Other days may consist of a straight 8–9 hour shift
• Officer may also have opportunities to work as a Flex Officer during the week at select sites
