Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Corrections officer license.
• Law enforcement officer license.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public at a government facility front desk following site procedures.
• Monitor entry activity and verify visitor credentials; issue passes and maintain records.
• Answer calls, give directions and route inquiries to the right personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency procedures.
• Report unusual conditions and policy violations to site leadership.
