Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel per site procedures.
