Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring an Armored Truck Driver in Johnstown, PA to transport cash and valuables securely while maintaining strict security standards. You will interact with customers to confirm transfers and require a valid driver’s license and firearms permits as needed.

The role involves operating armored vehicles in all weather and lifting up to 50 lbs. Full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits, including 401K, medical and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Strong customer service and are able to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Able to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions; heavy lifting (50lbs+)

YOUR JOB

As an Armored Truck Driver, you are responsible for the transport of cash and other valuables. You are also responsible for customer interaction as you are issuing and receiving receipts of confirmation from customers to verify the transfer of valuables. You maintain the highest degree of security and control at all times as well as a safe driving record. You are alert and aware of your surroundings to prevent any losses. All positions are armed.

FULL TIME

Monday-Friday

Rates

• $17/hr- No Firearms License
• $18.50/hr- Active firearms license (ACT 235)
• Up to $26/hr- Active firearm license or relevant work experience

WHO YOU ARE

• 21 years of age or older with a valid and clean driver’s license
• Have and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses on a current basis as required by state regulations
• Have strong customer service skills and are able to communicate effectively in person and by radio
• Are willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions. Heavy lifting required (50lbs+)
