Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring an Armored Truck Driver in the United States, with responsibilities to transport cash and valuables while maintaining the highest security standards. You will interact with customers to verify transfers, issue receipts, and monitor the security of loads from pickup to delivery.

A clean driving record and compliance with state license requirements are essential. Full-time, Monday through Friday, with rates starting at $17 per hour and progressing with licenses; qualified

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Active guard and firearm permits or licenses required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate large vehicles in all weather; heavy lifting 50 lbs+.

YOUR JOB

As an Armored Truck Driver, you are responsible for the transport of cash and other valuables. You are also responsible for customer interaction as you are issuing and receiving receipts of confirmation from customers to verify the transfer of valuables. You maintain the highest degree of security and control at all times as well as a safe driving record. You are alert and aware of your surroundings to prevent any losses. All positions are armed.

Full Time

Monday-Friday

Rates

• $17/hr- No Firearms License
• $18.50/hr- Active firearms license (ACT 235)
• Up to $26/hr- Active firearm license or relevant work experience

Who You Are

• 21 years of age or older with a valid and clean driver’s license
• Have and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses on a current basis as required by state regulations
• Have strong customer service skills and are able to communicate effectively in person and by radio
• Are willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions. Heavy lifting required (50lbs+)
