Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking an Armored Truck Driver in Boca Raton, FL to securely transport cash and valuables. You will interact with customers, issue and receive receipts, and maintain strict security and safety standards on every trip.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with no weekends. Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain guard and firearm permits as required by state law. Benefits include 401K and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits/licenses as required by state regulations.
• Strong customer service and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions; heavy lifting (50lbs+).

As an Armored Truck Driver, You are responsible for the transport of cash and other valuables. You are also responsible for customer interaction as you are issuing and receiving receipts of confirmation from customers to verify the transfer of valuables. You maintain the highest degree of security and control at all times as well as a safe driving record. You are alert and aware of your surroundings to prevent any losses. All positions are armed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (No Weekends!)

Salary

• $18/hr-No Firearms License
• $19.75/hr- Active firearms license
• Up to 24.75- Active firearm license or relevant work experience

Who You Are

• 21 years of age or older with a valid and clean driver’s license
• Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses on a current basis as required by state regulations
• Have strong customer service skills and are able to communicate effectively in person and by radio
• Are willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions. Heavy lifting required (50lbs+)
• High school diploma or equivalent
