Job summary

United Security Inc. in Baltimore seeks a flexible, per-diem Armed Officer to support our government contractor clients. You will maintain courtroom security, escort prisoners, and complete incident reports while adapting to variable weekly hours.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 3 years of detention or related experience, and state armed carry and security licenses. This is an on-site position with shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd periods.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom.
• Escort prisoners to and from holding cells and courtrooms using restraints.
• Escort prisoners in medical facilities if admitted.
• Transport prisoners from correctional facilities to courthouse and medical facilities.
• Completes reports by recording observations and surveillance activities.
