Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking per-diem Armed officers for Buffalo. The role offers $35.00/hour base pay and requires a High School Diploma, 3 years of detention or equivalent experience, plus a State Carry Permit and Armed Security License.

This opportunity is with established Government Contractors and features a flexible per-diem schedule with multiple shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Become part of a growing security team in Western New York.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience.
• State Unrestricted Carry Permit required.
• State Armed Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom.
• Escort prisoners to and from the holding cells to courtrooms using restraints.
• Escort prisoner in medical facilities if admitted.
• Transport prisoners from correctional facilities to courthouse and medical facilities.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

[Armed Detention officer Job Responsibilities]

• Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom

• Escort prisoner in medical facilities if admitted.
• Transport prisoners from correctional institutes to courthouse & medical facilities.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

This position is considered a per-diem position and hours will vary week to week.
