Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Burlington, VT is seeking an Armed Courthouse Security Officer for a full-time role. The position offers a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and pays 27.19 per hour.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age minimum to receive an armed license.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• MUST be a citizen of the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Ability to pass onboarding check and drug screen.
• Ability to pass PSR test (personality assessment).
• Ability to pass pistol qualification.
• Competency with handgun, shotgun, baton, handcuffs and use of force.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and patrol as assigned to maintain safety.
• Enforce site rules and directives for client locations.
• Provide customer service to employees and visitors.
• Report observations and conduct safety inspections as required.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed.
