Job summary

Weber Blackstone is seeking an Armed Security Officer for an evening shift at our Utah HQ. The role emphasizes a professional security presence, access control, incident response, and safeguarding employees and assets.

The position requires Utah armed security credentials, the ability to carry a firearm, and calm, independent work under pressure. Training and ongoing drills are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and Utah firearms carry compliance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Utah driver’s license with clean record.
• Current Utah DOPL Armed Private Security Officer license or ability to obtain on hire.
• Ability to legally possess and carry a firearm under Utah law.
• No felony convictions or other disqualifying criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior areas of the campus.
• Monitor access control systems and surveillance cameras.
• Verify employee, visitor, and contractor credentials; enforce access procedures.
• Respond to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Provide first response to medical and other emergencies until relieved by EMS.
• Assist with building evacuations and shelter-in-place events.
