Job summary

Rapid Response Monitoring is seeking Armed Corporate Security Officers to maintain a safe environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel in Syracuse, NY. This 100% in-office role requires a NYS Guard License and firearms training, with evening shift options.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current NYS Guard License.
• 8 Hour Pre-assignment Training.
• 16 Hours on The Job Training.
• 8 Hour Annual in Service Training.
• 8 Hour Annual Firearms Training.
• Must be licensed and registered with BSIS.
• Eligible for Department of Defense security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality services to protect people and property.
• Maintain a security presence by patrolling inside and outside the facility.
• Monitor security cameras and systems for anomalies.
• Detect and report safety concerns or potential risks promptly.
• Respond quickly to reports of suspicious activity and emergencies.
• Escort personnel to and from events when required.
