Job summary

Brink's Inc in the United States is seeking an armed CDL A/B Driver to operate armored vehicles and protect valuables during transport. You will work in a secure environment, following safety rules and DOT regulations while delivering to customers.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience, and a firearms permit or eligibility. A valid guard card or license is also emphasized along with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Satisfy all applicable DOT requirements and have firearms permit or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, security and control of the armored vehicle at all times.
• Guard the Messenger during delivery or pickup of valuables at customer locations.
• Maintain radio communication with crew and dispatch personnel.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle as necessary.
• Report faults and complete driving route documentation.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Provide high level of customer service to Brink’s customers.
• Assist in movement of liability and secured valuables as needed.
• Comply with all DOT and traffic regulations.
