Job summary

The CDL Driver at Brink's Global Services U.S., Inc. is responsible for safely operating armored vehicles, delivering and picking up valuables, within an armed security environment.

You will maintain vehicle readiness, communicate with crew and dispatch, and provide professional service at client sites. Qualified candidates have a CDL Class A, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver.
• A valid Class A CDL is required.
• A valid firearms permit or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, security and control of the armored vehicle at all times.
• Guard the Messenger during deliveries or pickups at customer sites.
• Maintain radio communication with the Messenger, other crew and dispatch.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle as needed.
• Report faults and complete driving route documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior and report issues.
• Provide high level customer service to Brink's customers and clients.
• Assist with movement of valuables from facility to vehicles and back as needed.
• Comply with all DOT and traffic regulations.
