Job summary

Brink's Global Services is seeking an armed CDL B Driver in the Newark area to safely operate Brink's vehicles for customer pick-ups and deliveries. This role requires enforcing security policies to protect assets, colleagues, and the public while working in an armed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver.
• Class B CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Meet DOT requirements.
• Valid firearms permit or ability to pass licensing requirements.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, security and control of the armored vehicle at all times.
• Guard the Messenger during delivery or pickup of valuables at a customer's location.
• Maintain radio communication with the Messenger and with dispatch personnel.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle as necessary.
• Report faults and complete driving route documentation.
• Ensure vehicle interior and exterior cleanliness and report issues.
• Provide high level of customer service to Brink's customers and clients.
• Assist the location Sort Operation in movement of valuables as needed.
• Ensure DOT regulations and traffic guidelines are followed.
