Job summary

Brink’s Global Services is seeking an armed CDL B Driver to safely operate armored vehicles at customer sites in Newark, NJ. You will ensure protection of assets, maintain communication with dispatch, and uphold all DOT and security requirements.

The role emphasizes responsible driving, readiness to handle valuables, and delivering excellent customer service in a secure environment. Training and growth opportunities are available within Brink’s network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver.
• Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements.
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms licensing requirements.
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, security and control of the armored vehicle at all times.
• Guard the Messenger during delivery or pick up of valuables at a customer location.
• Maintain radio communication with the Messenger and dispatch personnel.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle as necessary.
• Report faults and complete driving route documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior; report issues.
• Provide high level of customer service to customers and assist operations as needed.
