Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a security officer to protect employees, students, visitors and property on campus. Responsibilities include patrolling on foot or bicycle, responding to incidents, and ensuring safety per laws and policy. Must rotate shifts as needed.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma; an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field is preferred. Security/Military experience and valid driver’s license are required; proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Security experience or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required.
• Must pass Physical Fitness, Psychological, and Drug testing examinations.
• Valid Driver’s License required; proficient in Microsoft Office.
