Job summary

Top Guard Security is seeking armed and unarmed security guards for Suffolk and Windsor areas to join our Hampton Roads team. We provide security for industrial facilities, commercial properties, government sites, residential communities, healthcare and retail locations.

This is a Full-Time position reporting to the Account Manager. Pay ranges from $16 to $22 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff; part-time officers are eligible for benefits as well. 24 openings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Clear criminal history for background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professional demeanor at all times, maintaining company expectations for customer service
• Situational decision making; notifications to appropriate personnel as needed
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check as a condition of employment
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods, up to a full 8-hour shift
• Must be able to endure cold and hot weather for extended periods, up to a full 8-hour shift
• Occasionally lift or pull up to 50lbs
• Speak audibly, clearly and understandable in order to have information understood or to contact authorities.
• Some weekends and holidays may be required.
