Job summary

Allied Universal in Crozier, VA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer armed for a government location. You will provide customer service, conduct scheduled and random patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional posture.

Requirements include an Armed Guard Card/License, being 21+, HS diploma, and a background check with drug screening as applicable. The schedule is Mon and Sun 8am–4pm with pay of $18.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per visitor-management procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws and post orders.
