Palm Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join its growing surgical team. The role is hospital-based with no outpatient clinic responsibilities, focusing on operative and inpatient care across multiple hospital locations.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, and an active Arizona license or ability to obtain. Prior cardiothoracic OR experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA Certification required.
• Active Arizona license or ability to obtain.
• Prior operating room experience required; CT surgery experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• First assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Endoscopic and open vein harvesting
• Daily inpatient rounding
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient management
• Inpatient consultations
• Coordination of care with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participation in shared call coverage

Palm Health has joined an established and highly respected cardiothoracic surgery practice in Arizona that is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its growing surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced cardiothoracic surgeons in a high-volume cardiac surgery program serving multiple leading hospitals throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. The position is entirely hospital-based with no outpatient clinic responsibilities, allowing providers to focus on operative and inpatient care.
