We collect and analyze large volumes of data, using predictive analytics to develop solutions that make transportation smarter, safer, and more useful. The Team

The advertising data science team enhances Arity's marketing platform, enabling targeted and relevant advertising based on driving data and user behavior. The team works within a cross-functional scrum structure to optimize platform efficiency, scale revenue, and deploy algorithms rapidly.

As an Advertising Data Scientist, your responsibilities include:
  1. Leading the development of machine learning algorithms using GPS, driving events, and ad platform data.
  2. Making technical decisions on implementing models, including traditional and deep learning techniques.
  3. Influencing the entire cycle from data collection and processing to modeling and A/B testing.
  4. Prototyping solutions and collaborating with engineers and product teams for deployment and KPI measurement.
  5. Examples of projects include CTR prediction, win rate modeling, dynamic bidding, pacing, and frequency capping.
Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will involve:

  1. Partnering on experimentation and research with significant business impact.
  2. Analyzing large datasets using distributed computing frameworks.
  3. Building advanced algorithms with modern libraries and techniques.
  4. Exploring new data sources and establishing metrics for model validation.
  5. Communicating results clearly to stakeholders.
  6. Adhering to data science best practices, including peer review and documentation.
  7. Collaborating with product and engineering teams for model deployment.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A Master’s or PhD in a related field such as engineering, statistics, or computer science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, and machine learning within advertising.
  • Deep expertise in digital advertising systems and measurement sciences.
  • Experience with ad auctions, bidding strategies, and experimentation platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, and libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Experience deploying end-to-end machine learning solutions in production.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Optional skills include experience with control theory, cloud data warehouses, deployment platforms, and geospatial data.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $121,600 to $206,650, based on experience and qualifications.
