Job summary

Bayforce is seeking an experienced Ariba Implementation Project Manager to lead a comprehensive SAP Ariba deployment for a manufacturing or procurement-focused organization. The role coordinates IT, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain, guiding the project from planning through go-live in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of PM experience, at least one SAP Ariba implementation, and strong vendor and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience within large, complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project management of an SAP Ariba implementation, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and critical path.
• Coordinate activities across IT, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and other business functions.
• Partner closely with SAP/Ariba functional and technical resources, internal teams, and third-party implementation partners.
• Facilitate project governance, status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive-level reporting.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Identify project risks early and develop appropriate mitigation and escalation plans.
• Drive accountability across internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate requirements, design, configuration, integration, testing, data, change management, training, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Manage dependencies between Ariba and the broader SAP/enterprise application landscape.
• Oversee SIT/UAT planning and ensure business stakeholders are prepared for testing and adoption.
• Develop and manage cutover and go-live readiness plans.
• Support organizational change management and business readiness activities associated with new procurement processes and technology.
• Provide clear communication to PMO and executive leadership regarding project health, risks, decisions, and resource status.

Role Title: Ariba Implementation Project Manager

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Ariba Implementation Project Manager to lead and coordinate a strategic SAP Ariba implementation initiative. This individual will be responsible for driving the project from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment across IT, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, business stakeholders, implementation partners, and other cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience managing SAP Ariba implementations within complex enterprise environments, preferably within manufacturing, consumer products, food and beverage, or another organization with significant procurement and supply chain operations.

This role requires someone who can establish structure, manage competing priorities, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and drive both technical and business teams toward key milestones.

Requirements

• Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• Experience within manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer products, or supply chain-intensive organizations.
• Experience working within an enterprise PMO.
• Experience supporting procurement transformation or Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay initiatives.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAP, or related certifications are a plus.
