Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and portion food items.
• Safely use knives and a variety of utensils.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Cook meat, vegetables and other foods using multiple methods.
• Plate and garnish dishes per guidelines and stay within portions.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and equipment.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests and coworkers.
