Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a Janitorial Utility Cleaner at the HPU Arena in High Point, NC. The role involves general cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and outdoor area upkeep with a 8:00 am to 4:30 pm flex schedule. Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs and have 1–3 years of cleaning experience.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of $15.00 and requires readiness to perform event setup/breakdown as needed by supervisors. Safety and adherence to facility standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning, sweeping and mopping around machines, removing metal chips, cleaning windows and bathrooms, trash removal and cardboard disposal, cleaning outdoor storage areas, and using a pressure washer for concrete areas outside.
• Set up and breakdown of event setups; move student chairs/desks, file cabinets, rugs, and boxes in classrooms; assist with duties as assigned.
• Sweep and clean storm drains, outside utility areas, stairwells, and elevator floors; scrub floors, pull trash, dust, vacuum as needed, and clean restrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Will include general cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors around machines, removing metal chip, cleaning windows and bathrooms, emptying trash and removing cardboard, cleaning storage areas outside the plant, using a pressure washer to clean concrete areas outside, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Will include setting up and breaking down event set ups; moving student chairs/desks, file cabinets, rugs, and all other boxes in classrooms; and any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Sweeping and cleaning storm drains and ditches, stairwells, outside utility areas, and elevator floors. Will also include scrubbing floors, pulling trash, dusting, some vacuuming, and restroom cleaning or other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
