Job summary

Delaware North at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN is hiring a part-time Bartender to provide friendly service and accurate orders in a fast-paced arena setting. You will greet guests, take drink orders, mix drinks, handle payments, and maintain a clean, organized bar area.

This tipped role pays $10.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including training, discounts, and flexible schedules. Must be 21+, with 2+ years front-of-house experience in a high-volume venue.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Previous experience using a computerized point of sale system.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide menus, clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer questions about menu items, collect food and beverage orders, serve items ordered, and attend to guests' needs throughout their visit
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinks, as needed
• Prepare and deliver the check to guests at the table, accept and process the payment
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned
• Ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properly
• Fulfill drink orders from guests and servers, collect payment, and make correct change
• Mix drinks following recipes and using company standardized proportions
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, and adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Complete sales and inventory reports accurately
• Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies
