Job summary

dd's discounts is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our Store Leadership team in Niles, IL. You will oversee a defined area of the store and assist with daily operations as the Manager on Duty.

You will open and close the store, supervise Associates, ensure attractive merchandise presentation, and maintain a clean, easy-to-shop environment while executing company processes. Nights and weekends availability is required.

Qualifications

• Open availability, including nights and weekends.
• Previous experience as a keyholder is a plus.
• Strong ability to supervise and maintain an easy-to-shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Supervise Associates and act as Manager on Duty.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation is maintained.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

• The Area Supervisor is a member of the Store Leadership who is responsible for a specific, assigned area of the Store as well as the general operations and supervision of the Store when functioning as the Manager on Duty.
• Area Supervisors are responsible for opening and closing the Store, supervising Associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• They ensure proper merchandise presentation, and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Area Supervisors are also responsible for executing and supervising Company operational processes as needed.

Must have open availability (Nights and Weekends are required). Previous experience as a keyholder is a plus.
