Job summary

Ciocca Cleaning & Restoration in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Area Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead cleaning teams across multiple facilities.

You will train staff, inspect quality, coordinate coverage, manage schedules and safety, and ensure consistent, professional service.

The role requires prior leadership, strong communication, and the ability to stay organized as workloads change; evening hours from 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM with some weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain the cleaning expectations for each assigned facility.
• Perform regular inspections to confirm work meets company and customer standards.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance and feedback.
• Monitor employee attendance and performance.
• Arrange coverage or personally perform cleaning duties when employees are absent.
• Manage staffing and work hours to meet each building’s assigned labor goals.
• Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed.
• Respond to customer feedback and communicate necessary follow-up to the team.
• Follow and reinforce safety procedures, including proper chemical handling and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Maintain building security by following alarm procedures and tracking assigned keys.
• Complete training records, evaluations, employee requests, and disciplinary documentation promptly.
• Communicate regularly with cleaning teams, Operations, and other management.
• Keep any assigned company vehicle clean.

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Evening shifts within the 5:00 PM–2:30 AM window. Start and end times vary based on assigned area and workload. Weekend availability is a plus.
