Job Description

The Area Supervisor is a key member of the Store Leadership team, responsible for a specific area of the store and overall store operations when acting as Manager on Duty. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, supervising associates, maintaining a friendly shopping environment, ensuring merchandise presentation, and executing operational processes.

Essential Functions
  • Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments: Ensure safety is a priority, maintain awareness on the sales floor, control building security, and respond to emergencies.
  • Customer Service: Treat all customers and associates with respect, demonstrate professionalism, and recognize staff contributions.
  • Personal and Store Brand: Uphold the company's brand standards, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure store cleanliness.
  • General Merchandising: Oversee merchandise recovery, receiving, organization, and presentation standards.
  • Loss Prevention: Follow loss prevention policies, safeguard assets, and maintain security systems.
  • Front End Operations: Supervise the checkout area, train staff, ensure equipment functionality, and manage customer flow.
  • Fitting Rooms: Maintain cleanliness, monitor tags, and ensure proper merchandise returns.
  • Administrative Duties: Conduct cash handling, payroll, and other store management tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and use store equipment as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and more occasionally.
