• Minimum 3–5 years successful experience in management and supervision, related to food preparation and service.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent as required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and use of an automobile; ability to obtain SNS credentialing and ServSafe Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily Child Nutrition operations, including USDA-compliant meal planning, food production, service quality, and workplace safety.
• Conducts kitchen evaluations, approves food and supply orders, and coordinates equipment and facility needs.
• Analyzes participation, labor, inventory, and financial data to identify trends and implement efficiency-focused improvements.
• Serves as primary liaison to assigned schools and partners with principals/community for participation and meal quality improvements.
• Acts as on-site essential staff member during emergency closures.
