Base pay range

$14.50/hr - $18.40/hr

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Area Supervisor is part of Store Leadership, responsible for a specific area of the store, overall operations, and supervision when acting as Manager on Duty. Key duties include opening/closing the store, supervising associates, maintaining a friendly shopping environment, ensuring proper merchandise presentation, and keeping the store clean.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments: Prioritize safety, monitor the sales floor, correct or report unsafe conditions, and ensure security protocols are followed.
  2. Customer Service: Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism.
  3. Personal and Store Brand: Maintain a professional appearance, ensure adherence to dress code, keep the store clean and merchandised, and manage trash removal.
  4. General Merchandising: Oversee recovery, sizing, markdowns, receiving merchandise, and organization of stockrooms. Ensure compliance with presentation standards and reduce loss due to damage.
  5. Loss Prevention: Follow Loss Prevention programs, safeguard confidential information, and execute best practices to minimize theft and loss.
  6. Front End Supervision and Operations: Ensure front end standards, train associates, manage line pacing, and oversee equipment and supplies.
  7. Fitting Rooms: Maintain cleanliness, audit tags, and ensure merchandise is properly processed and tagged.
  8. Administrative Duties: Handle cash pulls, bank deposits, payroll, and other store policies as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; fluency in English.
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and lift over 25 lbs as needed. Ability to use store equipment and supplies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees Retail Associates and Stockroom Leads where applicable.
